1. ASSEMBLE THE SUITABLE SPOTLIGHTS

Whether it's a small shrub or a large tree, a pond or a fountain, a stream or a path: With our overview above, you have already discovered which spotlights are optimally suited for your application.  

Assemble the spotlights for your highlights – individually or as a set – and then test your selection in your garden. If a corner is still too dark for you after you've finished setting up your scenario, simply add additional spotlights and accessories later.

The total power (W) of all spotlights is 36 W, which means that 1x LunAqua Connect 36 W power supply is sufficient.

2. ADD A POWER SUPPLY

For example, one power supply can provide up to 36 W of power. To find out how many watts are required for your idea, add up the wattage of your selected spotlights. If the sum is greater than 36 W, you will need an additional power supply for a second system.

 

3. IF NECESSARY, ADD EXTENSION CABLES AND DISTRIBUTORS.

To do this, you need to roughly calculate the distances you want to cover. Each spotlight is supplied with a 3 m connection cable. For more distant spotlights, extension cables of 5 m and 10 m with four evenly spaced outlets are available – for white spotlights with 2-pin plugs and for RGB spotlights with 4-pin plugs.  

Furthermore, three-way distributors for white and RGB spotlights enable optimal distribution. Be careful not to exceed a total length of 100 m from the furthest spotlight to the power supply.

4. DO YOU NEED OR WANT SMART CONTROL?

If you have chosen one or more RGB spotlights, you will definitely need the LunAqua Connect OASE Switch controller and the free OASE Switch app to set the desired colour. You'll also need the controller if you would like to have ON/OFF programming or a dimming function for your white spotlights.

What would a light installation be without customised settings? It's for exactly this reason that we have the LunAqua Connect OASE Switch controller and the OASE Switch app for smartphone. You will also need both to set RGB spotlights to the desired colour.  

But your white spotlights also benefit from smart technology. The controller enables you to control each individual strand in your lighting scenario separately. The controller has connections for two white strands and one RGB strand.
