If it is no longer possible to control algae growth through water stabilisation and nutrient limitation, algaecides can be used. AlGo Universal can be used for all common types of algae in ponds. Other products are suitable for targeted use against thread or floating algae. AlGo Direct combats algae within a short time and then breaks them down into their naturally occurring components, which makes it particularly recommended for swimming ponds. PondClear should not be used in ponds containing sturgeon.
