Our biOrb AIR is made from acrylic, giving you a clear view of your plants.
Filter cartridges
A reticulated, open cell polyurethane foam made from a polyether that has been pre-treated with activated carbon. Prevents stagnation and condensation by taking in, recirculating and returning fresh air to the outside through a replaceable carbon filter. The filter must be replaced every six months.
Capillary mat
The biOrb AIR capillary mat isolates the coconut compost from the water reservoir and thus ensures that the plant roots receive the optimum amount of moisture.
Compost from coconut fibres
Coconut husks (used for the production of coconut fibre) are a waste product of the coconut industry. Owners of coconut fibre mills buy this waste material from traders and then grind the shells for various uses, e.g. doormats, animal bedding and growing media for plants
