Your future tasks will include:

  • Advising the entire OASE Group on legal issues and decisions relating to company, contract, product and commercial law as well as behavioural and procedural guidelines.
  • Dealing with disputes and complaints, analysing, working out solutions and implementation.
  • Supporting the specialist departments in contract negotiations with our stakeholders, e.g. customers, suppliers and export service providers.
  • Monitoring adherence to European and global legal and compliance requirements, also specifically at country level for all Group companies, as well as ongoing further development.
  • Supporting the Chief Compliance Officer in legal matters.
  • Commissioning and close dialogue with external lawyers.
  • Cost centre and budget responsibility.
  • Preparation and implementation of internal trainings to raise awareness of legal and compliance issues.
  • Project work, especially legal support for the company law-driven structural optimisation of the OASE Group.
  • Independently refreshing knowledge of current case law and legislation.

Your skills:

  • Completed legal education or commercial lawyer with a very good university degree in law.
  • Relevant practical experience with international commercial companies and/or in a law firm with a commercial background.
  • Expertise in compliance guidelines and standards desirable.
  • Solid understanding of business contexts.
  • Strong ability to translate complex legal issues into simple language.
  • Business fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • Excellent legal judgement with a good eye for detail, strong communication skills and an independent, diligent and cooperative working style.
